How to use it
- Click the “Click to edit” button above the preview.
- Move the pointer over the app. Each element you pass over is highlighted.
- Click the element you want to edit, like a button, heading, image or table.
- The element's name appears above the message box as the selected element.
- Type what you want, like “make it bigger and green”, then send.
When should I use it?
When it's hard to describe where an element is in words. The assistant knows exactly which element you chose, so it edits it in place without changing anything else.
Change an image right from the preview
Hover over any image in the preview, or tap it on a phone, and a “Change image” button appears on it. Click it to choose: “Upload from my device”, “Pick from app images”, “Generate a new image” or “Edit this image”.
An image you upload or pick goes in its place right away and shows in the preview, and you can take it back with “Undo”. It shows on your published link after you publish.
Note: Uploading your images and picking an image from the app are available on every plan. AI generation and editing follow your plan's image limit.
If you select an image
Three buttons appear under the image's name: “Generate a replacement image” suggests a description for a new image that fits its place, “Edit this image” changes the current image according to what you type, like “make the colors warmer”, and “Upload from my device” puts your own image there. You see the new image before you agree to use it.
Clearing the selection
To clear the selected element, click the cancel button next to its name. To stop selection mode before clicking, press Esc or click “Click to edit” again.
Note: Click to edit is available once the preview is running, not during the build.
